Instructions for Authors

Language: Papers should be written in English. Authors should take care of the revision of their written English.

Preparation of the text:

  1. The title page should include: the title, the name(s) of the author(s) and their affiliations in that order.
  2. At the beginning of the paper there should be an abstract of not more than 300 words.
  3. Units should always be according to the systéme international (SI).
  4. Manuscripts can be submitted as pdf files or as hard copy form.
  5. All manuscripts are evaluated by two referees.
  6. Accepted manuscripts are sent in Word or Latex format for the text. Figures can be provided in a digital form using a common image format or as hard copy originals.

Equations: Equations should be numbered sequentially with Arabic numerals and cited in the text thus: Eq. (1), Eq. (2) etc.

References: References should be made by giving the author's name (in italics) with the year of publication in parenthesis, e.g. Wilson (1988). When reference is made to a work with three or more authors, only the first name followed by et al. should be used, i.e. Johnson et al. (1987). References should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the paper on sheets separate from the text in the following form:

Chapman, S. and J. Bartels, 1940. Geomagnetism Vol. 1, Oxford at the Clarendon Press, London.
